Conor McGregor recently took to Twitter to post a video of him riding a bike. As McGregor broke his leg at the end of the first round in his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, Poirier won the fight and the trilogy. Ever since then, McGregor has been recovering from the surgery, and now, it seems like he is right on track in his recovery.

5 weeks, 5 days post op, I am back on the bike. Working from the global hub of physical therapy training and recovery, @EliteOrthoSport, under@HMilliPT.#bigbeastonabike @McGregorFast,” wrote the former two-division champion in his recent post.

As it’s been only over a month since he suffered that freak injury, it’s quite surprising to see him back on the bike. Judging by the nature of the leg break, many would have expected him to be away from such activities for a longer period.

However, his toughness is unquestionable. The fact he was busy promoting a possible fourth fight with Poirier with a broken leg inside the Octagon is a testament to the same.

When will Conor McGregor return to the UFC Octagon?

Despite the sight of McGregor back on a gym bike, one should not expect the Irish fighter to return anytime earlier than the latter half of 2022.
