“Visual Fidelity is a Very Important Goal for Halo Infinite,” Devs Address the Issue of Graphics Criticism

343 Industries has just announced that Xbox exclusive Halo Infinite won’t release until the Fall of 2021. This comes as disappointing news to Xbox Series X/S owners who were left without an exclusive at launch.
The devs announced a delay in release owing to the complications caused by the ongoing pandemic. Moreover, a Fall release for the title essentially means that the devs have pushed the release by almost a year.
In an introduction written by Joseph Staten, who joined 343 in August as a new project lead, he defined the release of the game as, “just the beginning of the adventure.”

The devs, in the post, mentioned several aspects of the game. These included details on micro-transactions and also an update on a new map that they have been working on. More importantly, they supplied images portraying the visual developments the devs have made since the July showcase.
Halo Infinite devs address graphic criticism
343 had given the world a glimpse of the title back in July this year. The response, however, was rather underwhelming. Staten revealed that the decision to take more time to do things right was taken unanimously.

This is what the Director of Art Management, Neill Harrison, had to say about the community’s response.
“Visual fidelity is a very important goal for Halo Infinite, and the graphics and art teams have been continually aspiring, and working closely with each other, to create the best-looking Halo game ever.
“I definitely want to acknowledge the input that we got from the Halo community and our fanbase; staying open to critical feedback and looking at areas where we can learn and do better is an inherent part of our culture at 343.”

The images posted by the devs definitely look appetizing. The game looks significantly improved; the environment looks pretty sharp and close to the Halo franchise we are familiar with. However, there is time before we can see the images in motion and draw a meticulous review.

Moving on, the blog post also highlighted an unnamed multiplayer map from the game. Like all the maps in the previous titles, maps in Halo Infinite too will include a concoction of interior and exterior locations. The Xbox patrons can rejoice as the popular multiplayer component of the game will also be free for the first time in the franchise’s history.
Unsurprisingly, 343 is taking massive leaps to provide an unexampled gaming experience to its honest patrons.
