Venue: Capital One Arena, Washington, DC

Preview-

Los Angeles Clippers were humbled in their last by the Eastern Conference leaders Milwaukee Bucks. However, they will be more confident for their next game which is against one of the bottom teams of the league. Also, their recent record seems impressive even after the loss against Bucks. They have won nine out of their last 11 games.

It was not a long time back when these two teams met in the league. Only in the previous week did these teams meet at the Staples Centre, when the Clippers ran riot over the Wizards. Clippers scored 150 points with four of their players scoring over 20 points. They won by a 25-point margin that day.

The Wizards would want to avenge the defeat, but it would be far from straight forward on Sunday against a strong-looking Clippers side.

The duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were kept relatively quite in the loss to Bucks. But there would be least expectations on it would happening again. In the Clippers’s 150-point rampage over the Wizards last wee, both Leonard and George managed over 30 points and another such performance cannot be discounted from them on Sunday. Also the likes of Montrezl Harell and Lou Williams have been extremely influential coming off the bench.

As for the Wizards, they were led by Rui Hachimura and Bradley Beal in their loss to Clippers. Beal is among the top five in the league with his scoring stats. Although he might lead the scoring for Wizards on Monday, it would be very difficult the Wizards to beat Clippers.
