Finishing 3rd in the Emilia Romagna GP, Norris got the opportunity to perform his iconic celebration. However, he didn’t notice where he was hitting the bottle. In the spur of the moment, Lando hit the bottle on Max Verstappen‘s podium step, knocking down his winning trophy.

The Woking base had a poor start this season, as both the McLaren drivers were unable to make it into the Top 10 in Bahrain. However, the English constructors turned the tables in the Melbourne race. Both Norris and Ricciardo finished in the top 10 with P5 and P6, respectively. Their 2022 challenger again looked amazing in Imola. The McLaren drivers qualified P5 and P6 for the Sunday race.
