Former Indian captain, MS Dhoni shared a throwback video featuring his wife Sakshi on his official Instagram account on Monday. In the throwback video, Sakshi Dhoni was rehearsing a dialogue for a commercial advertisement and MS Dhoni was teasing her as she was unable to deliver the dialogue even after reading it from the paper.

Dhoni made fun of her dialogue delivery, saying, “Dekh ke padh nahi paa rahi ho, tum deliver kaise karogi (You can’t read from the paper, how will you deliver it)”. The shared video on Instagram was more than a year-old where the veteran player wrote he turned the table and asked the “director” Sakshi Dhoni to recite the lines after she referred to it as “such an easy dialogue”.

He shared the video with the caption: “Blast from the past. When you turn the table and ask the director to deliver the dialogue especially when she keeps saying such an easy dialogue you should do it in one take. Time flies this was more than an year back”.

MS Dhoni and His Future

As far as he is concerned, he hasn’t played a single match since the World Cup 2019. His absence raised the question of his retirement as well. Recently, during an event, he said to the media, “Don’t ask me before January.”

India head coach Ravi Shastri also shared his views recently. He said only Dhoni knows whether his body will cope up with all the rigours of international cricket after a break or not.

“It’s sensible (the break by Dhoni). I like the time (around IPL) when he will be starting to play again. I don’t think he is too keen on the one-day stuff. He is finished with Test cricket. T20 is an option. It’s a format that is tailor-made for him. But will his body be able to cope with the demands, only he will answer,” Ravi Shastri shared to ‘India Today’
