WATCH: Nick Kyrgios Lost Concentration Because of a Hot Chick in The Crowd

After the focused first set against World Number threeRoger Federer, the volatile tennis player, Nick Kyrgios lost his concentration in the match due to a woman sitting in the audience.

“I’ll be totally honest, I saw a hot chick in the crowd and lost concentration, I’d marry her right now,” Kyrgios said during the second set changeover. All his team-mates including their captain, John McEnroe smirked on Nick’s comment.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion, Roger Federer had to change gears to give Team Europe a 5-3 lead in the Laver Cup 2019 as the Australian, Nick Kyrgios pulled off the opening set.

It was a dramatic singles match between the two ATP men with Roger Federer winning 6-7(5), 7-5, 10-7 in the second match of the day.“I was hoping it was going to be like this and they didn’t disappoint me. Thank you, Geneva. It was really close that first set so it was tough to lose,” Federer said after his toilsome win over Nick Kyrgios.

World Number three, Federer was overwhelmed with the vibes produced from the crowd and he accepted that he was not at his best. Kyrgios came with some exceptional attacks and tried to outplay the crowd’s favorite, Federer.

“The crowd could feel it, I could feel it. I needed to get some energy going but you can’t do that if you don’t play any good shots and Nick was playing very well. I was just trying to stay focused. If you can turn the momentum, the crowd gets back into it and I need some earplugs next time, it was just phenomenal,” Federer said.

Earlier, Alexander Zverev lost his singles match to John Isner from the Team World. Up next, Rafael Nadal will play Milos Raonic. The night match will feature the doubles encounter of Rafael Nadal and Stefanos Tsitsipas against Nick Kyrgios and Jack Sock.
