WATCH: ‘One-word’ Challenge of David Warner for SRH Teammates

David Warner, flamboyant Australia opener, is currently playing against India in the ongoing three-match ODI series. He is a key player of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He will return to India for the upcoming IPL season.

His formidable form helped him stay in the franchise. The left-hander has won the Orange Cap many times and many times took his team to the finish line, single-handedly. Before the upcoming edition, Warner had a chat with SRH.

The official Twitter handle of SRH uploaded the video where he was seen describing his teammates in one word. In the beginning, he failed to describe Kane Williamson in one word. Warner referred to him as smart, inspiring and a good dart player. Williamson is the Sunrisers’ captain for the last few years.

David Warner calls Mohammad Nabi ”President”

While he called Rashid Khan a ‘camel’, he said Bhuvneshwar Kumar ‘quiet’. The pacer didn’t have the best of seasons in the last season and is still suffering from injuries. Warner used the word ‘strong’ for his opening partner Jonny Bairstow.

Warner referred to Manish Pandey as ‘cheeky’ character. Pandey is currently playing in the ODI series against Australia. He came in as a substitute after Rishabh Pant failed to take the field due to concussion. For Mohammad Nabi, Warner called him ‘president’ and also gave a salute. Nabi was among the first Afghanistan player to play in the IPL.

He termed Khaleel Ahmed a ‘next person’ while referring Siddarth Kaul as a ‘charmer’. For Wriddhiman Saha, Warner called him a ‘great great person’. He referred to the all-rounder Vijay Shankar as a ‘dancer’. For his Australia teammate Mitchell Marsh, he used ‘big head’.

Warner further termed Shreevats Goswami ‘a good fellow’ and also called Sandeep Sharma ‘funny’. While describing Shahbaz Nadeem, Warner said that he knows him for a long time. He referred to him as ‘humble’. The experienced opener ended his conversation by saying youngster Abhishek Sharma ‘crazy’ and Fabian Allen a ‘Caribbean Star’.
