Afghanistan leg spinner Rashid Khan is a key player in the shortest format of the game. His ability to pick up wickets and trouble the batsmen makes him an important bowler as well. However, the leggie has recently taken a hat-trick in the recently concluded Big Bash League game against Sydney Sixers.

Rashid Khan and his hat-trick

Rashid cleaned up Sixers’ James Vince and Jack Edwards in successive balls in the 11th over. While Vince was caught out, the leg-spinner trapped Edwards before the stumps. He came to bowl in the 13th over and bowled Jordan Silk for 16. With this, he recorded the hat-trick and added another cap in his hat.
