World No.3 Roger Federer had some fun with his team including fitness coach Pierre Paganini, ahead of the Australian Open 2020. It looked like Federer returned to his childhood days as he enjoyed a fun-loving beating to his fitness trainer and hence released some pressure off himself before his first competitive match after November.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion loves to have fun on and off the court and has had many funny moments with his team members. Federer’s squad always try to joke with each other and relax ahead of his matches on the tour.

The six-time champion will begin his campaign for the 21st Grand Slam title in Melbourne on Monday. The 38-year-old will open up against Steve Johnson, who is coming off a Challenger title in Bendigo. However, Federer has a 2-0 head-to-head record over Johnson and will hope to extend his lead on the opening day of the Australian Open 2020.

“Practice has been going well. Had plenty of time to pace myself and do all the things I had to do to get ready. I hope it’s enough,” Federer said on Saturday. “I know it’s a super long road to victory. That’s why I’ve got to take it one match at a time.”

Last year, Federer saw a defeat in the fourth round against Stefanos Tsitsipas. He has not clinched a Grand Slam title since 2017 Australian Open and will aim to repeat his results this year.
