WATCH: Umesh Yadav Runs out Kagiso Rabada with a Direct Throw

In the third and final Test between India and South Africa in Ranchi, India fast bowler Umesh Yadav has been doing wonders- be it batting, bowling or fielding. His brilliant fielding skill left South Africa fast bowler Kagiso Rabada dismissed and walking back to the dressing room.

It took place on the penultimate ball of the 38th over when Rabada drove played a delivery off Ravichandran Ashwin at mid-off where Umesh Yadav was fielding. Yadav mis-fielded it which made the batsmen went for a single but that cost him the wicket.

Although the batsmen trying to sneak the run but Yadav collected the ball and throw it towards the non-striker’s end. His direct throw saw the dismissal of Rabada who was short to reach the crease. He came to bat at No. 9 in the 37th over and ended up scoring 0 off 6.

As far as Yadav is concerned, he has been doing well across all the departments in this match. He has scored a quickfire 31 off 10 which included five sixes to put India to 497 for 9 before declaring in 116.3 overs. He dismissed South Africa opening batsman Quinton de Kock yesterday and also dismissed South Africa captain Faf du Plessis in the first over of the day with a brilliant delivery.
