Imagine you walk into a store and the cashier is Rafael Nadal. You’ll surely be knocked out of your wits.

That’s exactly what happened with some fans who were part of an elaborate prank orchestrated by the Mallorcan great. Rafa changed his appearance to look a little less like a Greek God than he usually does.

When the fans encountered this vague version of Rafa, confusion ensued. The fans were left unsure of what they were seeing. Here was a man who looked like their national hero Rafael Nadal, but working as a mere cashier.

Some were sure it was none other than Rafael Nadal himself. Others were astonished to see a man who resembled the tennis star to such a degree. Rafa played his part to perfection, in proper “Impractical Jokers” fashion. The Spaniard would simply say many people mistook him for Rafael Nadal since he looked somewhat identical to the teens professional. Obviously, the confusion levels were off the charts while it certainly cracked up the neutral observers.

Rafael Nadal is all set to participate in tennis once again. However, this time his encounter with the game would not be as a full-fledged player on the court. Instead, Rafa will be participating in the Virtual Madrid Open Pro 2020. With no tennis action on the horizon, the event organizers decided to give fans some virtual tennis.
