What Is The New Update From The Ferrari Camp For the French Grand Prix?

Desperate for a win and troubled by the out and out Mercedes show, Ferrari, it could be said, are on the edge in the 2019 season. Their best chance for a win was thwarted by the terrible spell of luck that Charles Leclerc faced at Bahrain when a power unit trouble saw him fall down from a position of authority at Sakhir. Later on, Ferrari came desperately close to garnering what might have been their first win at Montreal but a five-second penalty handed to Vettel thwarted their run to the top.

With round eight of the current season all set to begin in another couple of days, the widely-famous sporting marquee from Italy is trying to salvage some lost pride and therefore, it’s needless to say that there’ll be some newfound pressure on the two drivers, Vettel and Leclerc, both of whom found themselves on the podium at Montreal.

So what exactly can be expected from Ferrari‘s fresh upgrades? Here’s what you ought to know. Speaking to the media regarding the new front wing design that engineers at Maranello have produced for round eight and beyond, team principal Mattia Binotto shared some insights.

“In France, we will have a few small evolutions, elements that represent for us a useful step in defining the direction we will take in developing the car.” Furthermore, the bespectacled Switzerland-born chief would go on to add, “What we will be bringing won’t be the solution to our problems, but the technical feedback we get from these evolutions will be important for the next steps we take.”
