Croatian tennis player, Ivo Karlovic, is married to Alisa karlovic. As Ivo Karlovic’s wife, Alisa is know to be taking good care of him.

Ivo and Alisa married in 2005, but as they lead a relatively private life, very little is known about them.

During his playing career, Ivo had a mysterious illness.

He came back from illness at the age of 34 after being hospitalised for viral meningitis.

He then opened up about the illness at a point of time when everybody were wondering about it.

“I woke up and my arm was numb,” Ivo had told as per Sports Illustrated. “Then my wife [Alsi] asked me I don’t even remember what. I was slurring, so she called the paramedics.

Ivo said that he began to vomit a lot after an IV theraphy which led to him visiting the hospital again. Ivo said that he remembered very little of what had happened, and even the doctors weren’t sure of having Ivo recovering.

“They released me after one hour, but later that evening the numbness and pain returned,” he said. “I became less and less conscious. I returned to hospital again. I don’t know what happened after that.”

Karlovic’s condition wasn’t diagnosed until three days later and this marks his ATP World Tour return at Newport.

“I was unconscious for a long time. I didn’t know my name or what year it was. I was in a lot of pain. My right arm and my face was numb,” admitted Karlovic.

“Headaches lasted almost 10 days. I recalled my name after four days and the numbness disappeared after five days.”

Under such grave circumstances, Ivo Karlovic’s wife, Alisa Karlovic is know to have taken good care of him, and is known to be one of the reasons for his recovery.
