Who Will Race for Hendrick Motorsports in the 2021 NASCAR Season?

2021 is approaching rapidly, and that means a new season is on the horizon. Therefore, a number of teams are on the hunt for fresh talent and potential drivers who are not contractually bound. The Hendrick Motorsports team is one such team, thirsting for a free agent.

The team is in dire straights, especially since Jimmie Johnson is slated to bow out of the grand stage of NASCAR towards the end of the year.

So, the big question is, can anyone fill the void that Johnson leaves? According to some predictions, the team will largely retain its original team but may rope in Erik Jones from Joe Gibbs Racing.

Another good option on the cards is Erik Jones. Jones is set to part ways with Joe Gibbs Racing in the 2021 season. The 24-year-old is a talented driver, so the team will be more than willing to snap him up for a year or two.

It would give the team an opportunity to critically analyze his talents in a new environment.
