World No.7 Alexander Zverev has finally broken his silence to the recent happenings over the last few days. On Wednesday, Zverev’s ex-girlfriend, Brenda Patea, made a shocking revelation that she was 20 weeks pregnant with his child and didn’t wish to share the child’s custody. The following day, another ex-girlfriend, Olga Sharypova, accused Zverev of abusing her several times.
Having won back-to-back titles at Cologne over the last two weeks, the accusations have cast aspersions over Zverev’s image.
Recently, the 23-year-old issued a statement on Twitter where he talked about the past few days being challenging for him. The tennis star acknowledged that he looks forward to welcoming the child with Brenda despite not being in a relationship with her anymore.
