The seeds of their poor 2019 season were already sown when they missed out on a huge portion of the pre-season testing in Barcelona. This in turn allowed Williams F1 to put forward a number of plans in order to address the areas of weakness that were causing the issues in the first place. With 2019 out of the way, 2020 will be a crucial season for Claire Williams, as it is imperative that the team improve and quickly.
