The Wimbledon Championships have not disappointed the fans when it comes to close encounters. Marton Fucsovics and Andrey Rublev have provided a thriller of an encounter on court 2. The Russian number five seed lost to unseeded Marton Fucsovics in a five set thiller. The fourth-round battle lasted for two hours and 41 minutes.

Marton Fucsovics went up in the first game, as he won two break points. Andrey Rublev beat him 6-4, 6-4 in the next two sets to take a comfortable lead against the Hungarian. The fourth set was complete demolition as he completed a bagel against the World No.7.

In the fifth set, both players went head-to-head in a battle for a quarterfinal match with Novak Djokovic. The Hungarian played brilliant cross-court shots, which ended up being the winner. However, the Russian was not backing down as he tried to get the winners from his first serve. With a total of 32 unforced errors, Fucsovics seized his moment as he played it to Rublev’s weakness.
