Andy Murray has entertained many tennis fans over the last decade. After living in the shadow of Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic, the former World No. 1 did have his moments. It took Murray around eight years to emerge on top of the rankings after having made it in the ‘top 4’.

When Andy won his first-ever Slam at the US Open in 2012, he was finally relieved. After having made it to a number of finals at the majors, Murray finally got his hands on the greatest honor a player could win. In 2013, after 77 long years, Andy won British hearts as he was crowned champion of Wimbledon. 

In recent years, Andy has had issues with regard to his hip. Constant injuries and the requirement of surgeries have been a roadblock in his career. He has come back on tour, but the results have not been as satisfactory as they once were.

Vallverdu currently is in Stan Wawrinka‘s camp. Besides Andy and Stan, he has been associated with top players like Dimitrov, Berdych, and del Potro. He remains optimistic and expects Murray to bounce back on the court.

Daniel said, “I would never exclude him. As long as he’s able to stay in shape, without too much pain, I wouldn’t be surprised if Andy performs really well next year. It’s hard to say what’s going to happen, but I think he will be competing against the best and also in the big tournaments.”
