Winner of twenty-three Grand Slam singles titles, Serena Williams has headlined the launch of the 2020 winter collection of globally renowned shoe designer Stuart Weitzman.

The American designer shoe brand sewed up a deal with the ‘Slam Queen’ earlier this year, making her the brand ambassador and global spokesperson of the label.

The brand teased its winter line with a series of posts on its Instagram page. The posts have a gracefully attired Serena striking different poses in footwear that are fresh off the brand’s winter line. 

The Insta posts have already racked up plenty of hits and likes since it dropped.

“Got it from Serena Williams”: Six-time Grand Slam Champion on Balancing Career and Motherhood

Named ‘Be In Your Element’, the winter collection showcases a dazzling range of stylish, designer footwear.

The winter line comes in eye-catching colors and is designed to suit every occasion.

‘Kickin It’ Serena-style

The 39-year-old also shared a snatch of her video shoot for the brand on her Instagram page. She also left a cheeky comment to her video post, which read ‘Kickin it’.

“Be bold. Be daring. Be in your element” was the brand tagline that ran along with the Instagram post.

One of the brand’s Insta posts shows the supermom acing a pair of Jesse Lift boots. On the career-front, Serena didn’t have a season worth raving about, finishing 11th in WTA rankings.

An underwhelming 2020 season by Serena Williams’ standards

She also couldn’t add to her 23 Grand Slam titles, falling to Belarussian Victoria Azarenka in the semifinals of the US Open.

However, she did record an astounding 100 career wins at the Arthur Ashe Stadium this year, the first-ever in the history of the game to achieve the feat.

The US Open this year marked the fourth straight Grand Slam, where she failed to land the title.

However, despite an underwhelming 2020 season by her lofty standards, the thought of retirement hasn’t crossed her mind yet. Even at 39, Serena does the hard yards at training and is keen to launch the next season with a win at the Australian Open.

As was in evidence at the Flushing Meadows this year, Serena’s power-packed game is still a handful of opponents.
