Patrick Mouratoglou has advised young tennis players with his words of wisdom, in order to produce the next Serena Williams. Patrick has been coaching Serena Williams since 2012 and has guided her to numerous titles. Serena has won 10 Grand Slam titles under the guidance of Patrick, since 2012.

Serena Williams has been playing through injuries for the past two years. She even injured herself during her first-round match at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships.

Patrick Mouratoglou has praised Serena Williams for her outstanding mentality and overall performance. Serena is a true champion on the court and has inspired many young athletes to take up the sport.

I understand that people see Serena as someone who’s more powerful than other players because she’s strong and she’s naturally like that. It’s an asset, but it’s also a weakness because you need to change direction very fast, so the muscles are heavy. So that’s not the reason why she is who she is. She doesn’t have the same mindset as most of the players. She has the mindset of a champion,” said Patrick.

Serena has won 23 Grand Slam titles in her career, one short of the record number of titles. However, her legacy and her passion for the sport have made her a true champion of tennis.

Serena will make a comeback soon

A true champion is one who overcomes their ears and injuries to get back on top. The American star has skipped the Olympics in Tokyo, in order to focus on her comeback. She will most probably make a comeback in August, at the US Open. She injured her ankle earlier in June at the All England Club.

Her coach believes she has the qualities of the greatest player of all time. “You can’t be the greatest player of all time if you have only one quality. But her biggest quality is her mental strength,” said Patrick.

Fans will be hoping for the former World No.1 to make a comeback soon. Can she win her 24th Grand Slam in August in New York?
