‘Come Out and Watch’ – Eugenie Bouchard Invites Fans to Witness Her Return to Tennis

Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard is recovering from a shoulder injury. She has not played since March 2021. After undergoing a successful rehab, Bouchard has resumed practice and also played in several exhibition games.

To gain more match practice, Eugenie will participate in the Madison-match event at Naples, Florida.

Former World No. 5 Bouchard had played in an exhibition game before and expressed her excitement for the same. She wrote in her Instagram post“I had the best time playing in front of a crowd. My cheeks hurt from smiling the whole time! This mixed format @championsseriestennis is so fun. One small step”

This would be the 13th annual event match and will have many star players participating in the tournament.  American tennis star Tommy Paul and Bryan Brothers will also be featuring alongside Reilly Oplelka and Eugenie Bouchard.

In the women’s segment, Bouchard will have the company of Jennifer Brady and Alison Riske. Jennifer Brady was the 2021 Australian Open.

The two-day event will have lots of intriguing match-ups and also a camp with the former stars. On 19th of March, people can enjoy food and music with the option to bid for some souvenirs. On the second day, selected people will join a special camp and get a chance to play with/against pro-tennis stars.

The WTA star is eager to get on to the tennis court for competitive action and exhibition events like these will surely get her going.

Bouchard stays in constant touch with her fans and updates her status through social media posts. Recently, she also donned the role of a  tennis expert and commentator for the Tennis Channel. She also had a lavish private yacht tour with her friends to get some time off the recovery process.
