Is Eugenie Bouchard also preparing for a comeback?

Former World No.5 and once a Wimbledon finalist, Eugenie Bouchard has been struggling with her form for the past few years on the tour. Despite starting her career sensationally, she has fallen off the radar in the subsequent years, unable to show consistency on the tour. The 28-year-old Canadian has been sidelined due to a shoulder injury since March last year. Before suffering an injury, Bouchard showed glimpses of her old self, reaching the final of the 2021 Guadalajara Open.

Nonetheless, Bouchard is back on the court and well on a road toward a possible comeback. She featured in exhibition sets last month and has been posting videos of her practice sessions off-late.
