Bouchard is eying a return at the Palm Harbour event

After grabbing all the headlines in 2014 for her outstanding performances in Grand Slam tournaments, the Canadian player hasn’t performed consistently on the tour. Notably, she reached the final in the 2014 Wimbledon Championships. In the same year, she also reached the semi-final at the Australian Open and the French Open.

After that, many injuries and other events took a toll on her career. Last year in June she suffered a horrific shoulder injury and had to go through the surgery. After recovering well from that surgery, she returned to the tennis court last December. Since then, she has played many exhibitions matches before getting ready for her long-awaited comeback on the tour.
