Later, some offended Djokovic fans took potshots at the 59-time Grand Slam champion for avoiding Djokovic’s name from the list of contenders.

Navratilova later expressed her disappointment over the way Djokovic fans have behaved on the past few occasions with her. Chris Evert also came up with a sarcastic tweet.
