American tennis duo Venus and Serena Williams have achieved almost everything in their tennis careers. Recently, Serena retired from professional tennis after a 27-year-old long run. She ended up as the second-highest Grand Slam title winner. However, Venus is still active and has plans to come back soon.
The legendary sister duo recently appeared in an interview with Hollywood star Bradley Cooper. Three of them had fun discussing different aspects of their careers. The Williams sisters also engaged in fun banter with Bradley, discussing their balance of public and personal life.

“There’s a fine line. Some days, I’m like, ‘When is the last time I’ve been outside?’ So that’s normal,” she said. Serena further added, “It’s making sure I’m out there enough, so it’s not too much of an event [when I do go out]. The other day, I wanted to get something to eat, and I ended up staying home. I don’t want to overdo that. it’s important to step out just enough.”

Venus Williams to give up doubles after Serena’s retirement

While the world was busy bidding a perfect farewell to the legend, Serena Williams. Out of love and respect for the bond that they share, Venus decided to retire from the doubles leg of tennis. Notably, in Serena’s last appearance at the US Open, she also joined hands with her sister Venus to compete in the doubles for one last time. Unfortunately, the duo could not advance past the first round of the tournament.
Recently, while answering the fan questions, Venus revealed her future plans. While the seven-time Major champion is planning to return to the court later, she made it clear that her doubles career is over with Serena’s retirement.
