Osaka uploaded a video with the book on her Instagram story. We can hear Osaka saying, “This is my mom’s book. I have to get her autograph, but otherwise… God! Look how cute she is! And then we got like food!”
The book is in Japanese and from the snippets, it looks like a recipe book.

Naomi Osaka has been off the court for a while. She had to bid an early farewell to the French Open this year after getting defeated in the first round. The Japanese star had come to the clay court major with a prevailing Achilles injury.

Osaka tried to remain fit for the Wimbledon and used unconventional methods to get a relief from it ahead of the grass court major. Even though she was disappointed about not being able to get ranking points, she still wanted to play.
The Japanese player tried running on an underwater treadmill to get a relief from the Achilles injury. However, she recently withdrew from the tour because of lack of any relief.
