Amongst them were the Williams sisters, Serena Williams and Venus Williams.
The two dominated women’s tennis for years. Further, they went on to become one of the most successful siblings in the game. Not only have they tasted success at Grand Slams but also have ruled the game at the Olympics. Chiefly, they have four Olympic gold medals each. Their discipline on and off the court was one of the prime reasons for their highly illustrious career. Recently, the elder Williams sister opened up on what she doesn’t tolerate in her life.

Venus Williams reveals what she wouldn’t tolerate
Last year, the film ‘King Richard’ was released, based on the life of the Williams sisters’ father, Richard Williams. Will Smith played the role of Richard Williams in the film, garnering massive appreciation. Further, Serena and Venus were involved in a chat with the American actor on the Red Table Talk show.

During the show, Will Smith asked Venus what she wouldn’t tolerate in her life. She said, “I always say that I don’t start anything but please don’t start anything with me.” Moreover, she added, “I’m the nicest person in the world but I just don’t like to be disrespected. When you are younger, you don’t realize that you have those options to say no and as you grow up and understand what you’re like, I can say no, and actually, I don’t have to take this. It’s a wonderful feeling.”

Further, they also talked about the infamous incident during the 2001 Indian Wells. The Williams sisters were up against each other in the semifinals of that tournament. However, Venus withdrew from the tournament minutes before the match due to an injury. Subsequently, she faced huge flak from the crowd. Some even went on to say that she withdrew because her father had pre-determined who was going to win.
