Taking to her Instagram account, she posted a video made for the fashion magazine Vogue. In the video, the former World No. 1 talked about her first ever photoshoot with sister Venus for the renowned magazine.

Going ahead in the video, the magazine, started in 1892, showed Serena a photo of hers with sister Venus, leaving the floor open for detailing. Dazzling in a pink dress and a golden watch, an exhilarated Serena started by saying, “This was my first shoot that I did for Vogue and I did it with Venus.”

The photograph dates back to May 1998. The time when the Williams sisters were steadily paving their path to becoming two of the greatest players of all time. Going ahead in the video, Serena elaborated, saying, “You can see we were very young. We had our beads and we still had our youth.”

Being a fashionista, Serena has always had a thing for major fashion designers. The shoot was no different. Detailing the black-and-white striped dresses, she said, “This is a Carolina Herrera. Beautiful gown.”

Recalling the shoot, Serena ended by asserting, “It was such an amazing moment. I just remember being so excited to shoot for Vogue. It was so cool.”

Apart from her photo with Venus, the video also featured Serena detailing a photo from her wedding with Alexis Ohanian. “This is my wedding picture. I got married,” she said.

As mentioned earlier, Serena has always had an inclination towards major fashion designers. Being her wedding, it goes without saying that Serena opted for a larger-than-life dress for her special day. Detailing her wedding gown, she said, “I had this insane Alexander McQueen dress.” “I went through a stage where I loved capes. So like, Sarah made this awesome cape for me,” she further added.

Similar to Serena, her fans also enjoyed the memory walk. However, despite being an engaging video, it failed to cover up the upsetting announcement of the 40-year-old. Currently playing the Rogers Cup, it is anticipated that Serena would pick her racquet for the last time at the 2022 US Open.
