From the tennis courts of Compton

‘The Goat: Serena’ is a podcast hosted by legends, Zina Garrison and Chanda Rubin. In conversation, it traces the journey of Serena Williams, right from the courts of Compton to global triumph. Joined by special guest, tennis coach Rick Macci, the first two episodes were recently released.

Caught candid, Rick expressed how influential the William sisters are and what every aspiring star can learn from them. He said, “This is a great lesson for anybody, it’s not about ever winning or losing, and I know that’s easy to say. It’s about learning, it’s about hitting better, you just got to control your attitude, the winning and losing is going to take care of itself.”
