The Reddit co-founder, who has invested in the NWSL team, Angel City FC, has seen it reach great heights. During the valuation of the soccer clubs, it was reported that Angel City FC was now worth $100 Million.

Further, this team became the most valuable team in NWSL, leaving behind the likes of Gotham FC and Washington Spirit. Recently, Ohanian had a special message for the players and fans of his soccer club.

The Reddit co-founder took to Twitter to thank everyone involved in making his team reach great heights. He said, “I didn’t just acknowledge it — I wore it on a t-shirt!!! Thanks for sticking around long after the match; I love our players and our fans (so many of whom stayed to sign every last thing you all had!)”

Earlier, Ohanian received a doodle of his family which he kindly acknowledged. This shows how much Angel City FC and women’s sports mean to the cofounder of Reddit. Even in the past, he has spoken strongly about how women’s sports have great potential and are an integral part of our society.

During a recent interview, the 23-time Grand Slam champion said that Maria Sharapova is currently her best friend. Explaining the reason why the two became close friends, Serena said, “She is my best friend now. Sorry, Caroline. Also the first person I can call to discuss my day-to-day things with. Motherhood has brought us really close to each other.”

Serena and Sharapova played in some of the most memorable matches during their careers. Of the 22 matches played between them, Serena managed to win 20 of them. Although the American legend dominated the rivalry, their matches were often keenly contested.
