Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the tennis season has been suspended since March. This was terrible news for fans across the globe, who are sitting at home with no tennis to entertain them. Hopefully, they might not have to wait for too long in the near future as we have received some good news from the city of Wuhan, China.

This should give every other country some hope that that they can also win against the coronavirus. And If every country is able to do that, tennis fans around the world will finally be able to see some action again.

Every fan is missing the sport right now.  They have not witnessed any tennis since February when the Mexican Open and The Dubai Open were conducted. And they are not going to witness any action anytime soon since the season has officially been suspended till July.

Adding to the bad news is the cancelation of the 2020 Wimbledon. This is the first time The Championship has been canceled since World War 2.

I think this should make it clear how hard the pandemic has hit tennis. We need to contain the virus sooner, rather than later. If we do not win the battle against the pandemic soon, it is likely we will not see any competitive action again this year. This is probably the worst nightmare for any tennis fan. Hopefully, it does not become a reality and we can see some more amazing matches before the year comes to a close.
