Roman Reigns is a WWE Superstar that has no time for no sense. He is the real deal and was on a determined path to claim the WWE Title after Seth Rollins crushed his dreams with the Heist of the Century.

However, Reigns fought through, but had one major roadblock in his way – The Authority. The Authority, headed by Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon, was a notorious faction that played favouritism with their wrestlers.

Roman Reigns wasn’t too keen on being a puppet and went head to head against the Authority. And in one such case, the ‘Big Dog’ even got his hands on the WWE Chairman!

Roman Reigns won the WWE Championship at the 2015 Survivor Series. For the vacant WWE Championship, Reigns defeated Dean Ambrose in the finals. Seth Rollins, as previously stated, was forced to vacate the title due to injury.

After his match, Reigns delivered a spear to Triple H as he wanted Reigns to his side on Team Authority. However, the joy of winning the WWE Championship lasted for minutes until Sheamus cashed in his ‘Money in the Bank’ contract. Sheamus seized the opportunity and beat Reigns to capture the WWE Championship.

At the TLC pay-per-view, Reigns got his rematch in a ladders match against Sheamus but unfortunately faced a defeat. The match got an uneven turn as Sheamus got assistance from Rusev and Alberto Del Rio.

In the frustration of the defeat, Reigns assaulted Sheamus, Del Rio, and Rusev. In order to stop the situation, Triple H stepped in, where he was brutally beaten down by Reigns. Surprisingly, Triple H got assaulted on the announce table and a spear at the end.

Vince McMahon confronts Roman Reigns

With the assault, Roman Reigns sent a powerful message to the Authority, forcing Vince McMahon to intervene in order to avenge his son-in-law’s assault.

Vince McMahon appeared on Raw following TLC to confront Roman Reigns. Vince dissed Reigns in front of the WWE fans, attempting to humiliate Reigns. However, the WWE Champion Sheamus interrupted and asked Mr. McMahon to set a match against Reigns.

Mr. McMahon originally opposed Sheamus’ proposal, but subsequently agreed on one condition. He made it obvious to Roman Reigns that he would be fired if he did not win the WWE Championship tonight. However, tables turned for Mr. McMahon when Roman won the WWE Title.

Vince, on the other hand, hadn’t given up hope of seeking revenge. He set up a new match and appointed himself as the guest referee. Despite the odds, Reigns retained his WWE title, frustrating Vince. Later, he made Reigns put his WWE Championship on the line against 29 other men at Royal Rumble.

Reigns got eliminated by Triple H in the 2016 Royal Rumble, giving him the WWE Championship. Roman Reigns’ battle with The Authority got heated. However, Reigns defeated Triple H at WrestleMania 32, putting an end to their rivalry.
