Wrestlers spend their entire careers working to reach the brass ring. And when somebody compares them to a WWE Hall of Famer, it is a big deal. The same happened with AEW superstar Maxwell Jacob Friedman, a.k.a. MJF when Booker T compared him to Ric Flair.

Although humbled by the compliment, MJF feels that by the time he retires from the business, people will know he is incomparable. MJF has had an incredible run in AEW so far and is showing no signs of stopping.

For context Booker T, in his “Hall of Fame” podcast, said,

“That right there (Flair and MJF teaming up) is pretty good because MJF, he is the modern-day Ric Flair. He really is. Sting-Darby Allin – how much of a parallel are those two? It’s like looking in the mirror. So, c’mon, tell me that doesn’t work? Just think about it, for one second, MJF and Ric Flair both donning the gold robes.” (H/t Sportskeeda)

MJF replied on Twitter and declared himself incomparable by the end of his career. The tweet raised a few eyebrows from the fans as well as other wrestlers.

MJF has been crucial in AEW moving forwards. His inputs in the company, along with others, have presented All Elite Wrestling as a legitimate threat to WWE. This is the first time since the ‘Monday Night War’ with WCW that another wrestling company has posed competition for them.
