AEW CEO Tony Khan Says Fans Don’t Give Brock Lesnar Enough Credit

Brock Lesnar is the hottest property in the world of pro wrestling and arguably MMA. Up till now, WWE had the exclusive services of ‘The Beast’. Now, Lesnar becoming a free agent has got everyone’s attention.

Brock Lesnar was last seen losing his WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36. Since then, there have been constant negotiations between him and the WWE.

WWE has failed to meet the demands of Lesnar – and it is understandable. COVID-19 is not an easy time for the company and Brock Lesnar charges a fortune.

Since both parties have parted ways, the whole world is speculating what is next for the 43-year-old ‘Beast.’ There are several promotions who will love to sign Lesnar.

However, one company that is more than capable of signing ‘The Beast’ is AEW. Here is what AEW CEO Tony Khan said in a media call a few hours ago.

“I can’t comment on that at this time but I’ve enjoyed Brock’s work for many years. “He’s a great fighter & a great wrestler. I don’t think people talk enough about what a great worker Brock Lesnar is.”

Dana White is open to Brock Lesnar vs Jon Jones if both men agree

In 2017, after defeating Daniel Cormier for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship, Jon Jones made an open challenge to Brock Lesnar. At that time, Lesnar was contracted to the WWE and it could not happen.

Fast forward three years later to this day, Lesnar is officially free to follow his heart. On hearing the news, Jon Jones didn’t miss the chance of reminding Lesnar what he wants to do to him.

UFC President Dana White has also been flaming all the rumors. In an interview with TMZ Sports, White agreed that if Brock is “seriously interested” in fighting Jon Jones, he’s more than happy to put it together.
