Since last year, various WWE superstars have shifted to AEW. That is why, most of AEW’s top stars like Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho are from WWE. However, not everyone could make the shift.
Fred Rosser, formerly known as Darren Young, recently revealed why he never appeared in AEW. In a recent tweet, he said AEW rejected him twice.
Fans have repeatedly asked him to be on the rising promotion but there was a reason he was never there. Rosser wrote, “I get asked a lot why not AEW? Well, I tried, and I was told NOPE…NOT ☝🏼 but ✌🏼…besides AEW wasn’t my end goal; it’s always been NJPW.”
