WATCH: AEW Superstar Finishes The Match With Randy Orton’s RKO

AEW went head to head with WWE as the two companies staged their own pay-per views. Needless to say, everyone expected some explosive matches.

When it comes to AEW and NXT, that means a spot-fest which includes wrestlers performing death defying moves.

While you might or might not agree with that style of professional wrestling, it certainly makes for some mind-blowing viewing experience.

One of the matches that was expected to deliver across these lines was the tag team contest between Private Party and the Inner Circle.

The Chris Jericho led group was being represented by the supremely talented Santana and Ortiz. While Private Party had their new manager, the veteran Matt Hardy, flanking their corners.

AEW delivers a scintillating contest

The match itself was a sight to behold.

Firstly, the two teams have contrasting styles which adds some much needed flavour to a wrestling contest.

Private Party are known for high-flying moves which puts them in the league of tag teams like The Young Bucks. One can even say that they are one step ahead of the tag team legends when it comes to executing risky moves.

On the other hand, Santana and Ortiz are known for a hard-hitting style of tag team wrestling. Their moves look like they can hurt you badly.

The match itself saw both the teams displaying their respective wrestling style with the utmost of fluency.

As you can see, they paid homage to wrestling legends like Jushin Thunder Liger (The Inner Circle performing the liger bomb) and DDP and Randy Orton (Private Party hitting the cutter to perfection).

In the end, the Private Party picked up the victory through their visually pleasing signature move that’s meant to generate pops.

It’s clear that Cody Rhodes and co. see Private Party as a strong unit. That’s why they are being pushed heavily at such a novel stage of their careers.
