The AEW 2023 Revolution event featured a variety of matches. Especially the gore in the Texas Deathmatch between Jon Moxley and ‘Hangman’ Adam Page shocked everyone. Fans were awaiting the main event between AEW champion MJF and Bryan Danielson. And they were not disappointed by what they saw.

The ‘Iron Man’ battle between the loudmouth and the veteran Bryan seemed ideal on paper. And the eventual match-up served up more than what was expected. Fans were particularly impressed with a unique and thought-provoking spot during the match

MJF pinned Danielson twice in quick succession, a rare sight in an Iron Man Match. However, he used a low blow to execute the pinfalls. A move that should have added to the challenger’s score. Nevertheless, the back-to-back cover by the champion drew a lot of praise from the fans.

The champion and the challenger are exceeding all expectations from the main event.

Friedman was up to his usual antics during the match. His heel actions against a kid in the crowd brought on the wrath of social media on him. The AEW champion intentionally spilled a drink on a young fan. He is turning out to be a tough nut to crack. Whether inside the wrestling ring or outside it.

A touch of uniqueness in a long list of Iron Man matches

While there have been countless ‘Iron Man’ matches with plenty of stand-out moments in wrestling history this out-of-the-box moment from MJF has to be among the best. Both he and Bryan Danielson gave their absolute everything in the match. The main event did not disappoint with regard to the wealth of talent on display.

The result was tied 3-3 in the stipulated time. With Danielson getting the champion to tap out in the final moments. It was announced that the match would not be allowed to end in a draw. Hence it progressed under sudden death rules. And MJF kept his nerves to retain the title against veteran Danielson. All in all, it was an engaging and arduous contest for both men. The back-to-back pinfalls served as the icing on the cake.
