The wrestling world was shocked to hear about the sudden and tragic passing of Brodie Lee back in 2020. The AEW star who made a name for himself with his run in the WWE was loved by one and all. Like many of his colleagues, Lee jumped ship to join the rival promotion AEW in 2020.

But, his untimely passing left a huge void in the roster and it was somewhat comforting for the fans that his son Brodie Lee Jr aka Negative One started appearing on the AEW programming. He would align himself with the Dark Order faction, however, recent actions by the faction’s members left Lee Jr. in tears.

Lee’s son accompanied his mother and younger brother to pay tribute to his late father on a special edition of AEW Dynamite. And his appearance at the event caught many fans’ eyes as he donned a black mask and a nicely clad suit. Lee Jr. started appearing along with the Dark Order group in the subsequent weeks until this past week.

The Dark Order took on the trio of Rush, The Butcher, and The Blade in the main event of AEW Rampage. Preston Vance, aka 10, was missing from the action to the surprise of the fans. However, he would later rush toward the ring, seemingly to save his group members. In a surprising turn of events, 10 betrayed his friends and went on to attack Silver, resulting in a loss for The Dark Order.

Negative One was as shocked as everybody present in the arena due to the sudden actions. While 10 proceeded to take off his mask and throw it onto the late wrestler’s son. And the disgust of the watching audience and the announcers was apparent in the lack of respect shown by 10.

The surprise heel turn could do wonders for 10’s solo career going forward. However, one can’t help but feel sorry for the Negative One. He not only considered the now villainous wrestler as a friend but also his hero. The immense dedication and hard work that Brodie Lee’s son has put into his character is already been appreciated aplenty by the fans. Hence, it would be interesting to see if he follows in his legendary father’s footsteps to build a career in wrestling.
