Renee Young Opens Up on Pregnancy Excitement And Jon Moxley Surprising Her

Jon Moxley surprised the Wrestling World on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite when he announced his wife, former WWE commentator, Renee Paquette (fka Renee Young), is pregnant.
The news broke the internet with wishes and greetings coming in from all over. Renee was also surprised at the way Mox revealed the news.

In an interview to Jen Juneau and Anya Leon of People Magazine, Renee Young spoke about her pregnancy and shared how excited she is. She said, “We are so beyond excited to start this new chapter, and now finally having the world know feels like a weight has been lifted off my chest.”
“I am the worst at keeping fun secrets! However I definitely couldn’t have predicted that the world would have found out on AEW Dynamite,” she continued.

Renee also explained how she hadn’t expected Jon would break the news the way he did.
“I was thinking about all of these cute different ways that we could break the news to everyone and then bam, Jon just haphazardly spills the beans on Dynamite! But we’re a kinda no-frills couple, so I guess it actually fit perfectly.”
Talking about if there are any names in mind for their baby. She said they “have a few names in mind.”
“We’ve been batting around the last few weeks, but we haven’t hammered anything down yet,” said Paquette.

She also weighed in on whether it’ll be a baby boy or a baby girl. She said, “We don’t even know if it’s a boy or a girl yet, but we have options for both scenarios! My maternal instinct is telling me it’s a girl. We’ll see if I’m right!”
“Naming a person is crazy; it’s a lot of pressure to get it right. But I think we’ll probably lean towards something classic and timeless!” she added. H/t People.com

The unexpected delivery of the news really gave fans a joyous surprise. Renee left WWE earlier this year and fans wondered what the first-ever female color commentator of Raw had planned next.
Since parting ways with WWE, Renee Paquette has launched her own cookbook and now will debut her podcast Oral Sessions on Tuesday with her husband Jon Moxley as the guest. From all fans in the world, we wish Renee Paquette good luck as she steps in a new endeavor while also welcoming mommy hood!
