Cody Rhodes stole the show at WrestleMania 38. The American Nightmare made his much-awaited return to WWE. Moreover, not only did he make a fabulous return at the grandest stage, but his return was also triumphant. However, it seems like it did not just shock the fans in the arena. His former AEW colleagues seem to be startled.
Seth Rollins for weeks was after WWE for an opponent at WrestleMania 38. It did not look good, as all of his efforts until the very last RAW before WrestleMania were fruitless. However, The Chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon himself, promised him an opponent at the showcase of the immortals. Consequently, that promise was fulfilled in the form of Cody Rhodes.

The arena erupted as The American Nightmare’s music hit as Rollins waited in the ring. A heated and brilliant match ensued as a result. The match was always going to be stellar, considering the talent that was involved in it. Two of the best professional wrestlers in the same ring at WrestleMania is a guaranteed show-stealer.
After a lot of back and forth, Cody Rhodes was able to get the upper hand on Seth Rollins and pinned him for a glorious victory. However, it seems like his AEW colleagues did not know about Cody joining WWE again.
What did The Young Bucks say about Cody Rhodes?
The Young Bucks are the masters of subtlety. No one really expected any AEW stars to react to Cody jumping ship. But The Young Bucks’ Twitter bio seems to tell a different story. Their Twitter bio currently reads “WTF I thought we were doing All In 2.” It is easy to see why this is most likely directed to Cody Rhodes.

“All In” was a professional wrestling pay-per-view that was promoted by Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks back in September 2018. Rhodes and The Young Bucks organized this event in association with the Ring of Honor promotion which has now been bought by AEW. It seems like The Young Bucks found a clever way to not directly react to Cody Rhodes’ WWE return.
