WWE’s history of greatest factions is incomplete without mentioning The Shield. This faction came to life when Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley), Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns aligned together to take over the wrestling universe.

Even though the faction split up six years ago, all three of them continue to make a name for themselves in their respective companies.

The last time that The Shield were together in the company was during April 2019. Following this, Dean Ambrose quit WWE and went on to join All Elite Wrestling, under the moniker of Jon Moxley.

Talking about Moxley, Rollins revealed that even though him quitting WWE put the fans against him, Rollins and Moxley continue to share a relationship free from the burden of rivalry tension. Moreover, they both check up on each other from time to time and have been maintaining a great friendship.

“We still talk from time to time. I would love to see what he’s doing or how he’s doing or whatever. When his wife [Renee Young] got sick, obviously I checked in on him to make sure he was doing OK and the dogs were good and all that good stuff.”

On the other hand, even though Roman Reigns has not been present in the company immediately prior to WrestleMania 36, Seth Rollins has been in touch with him.

Rollins revealed that even when Roman Reigns is at home, he is preparing for the arrival of his baby. Therefore, it’s anything but a vacation for Roman.

“He’s got five kids now. He’s a busy dude. It’s not that he’s sitting at home taking his time off. He’s working in a different way. As expected-father-to-be later this year, I can’t imagine having five little crazies running around at once, so kudos to him and his wife for what they’re doing. But he’s doing good and he’s healthy. You see him on social media. He’s working out, he looks like he’s in the best shape he’s ever been.”

The audience continues to feel their presence on WWE RAW, WWE SmackDown, and AEW Dynamite.

“That was the main goal when we left Florida Championship Wrestling back in 2012, just to take over the business. Obviously, we could not foresee what it would become or what it is now, but it’s exactly what we planned in the sense that we’re all kind of running the show in our own respective places.”
