The “Scottish Psychopath” Drew McIntyre Calls Out WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury

WWE has pulled off some dream matchups over the years. Now, Drew McIntyre, the WWE champion, has dropped a sign that there could be a possible match between him and boxing legend, Tyson Fury in the future.
McIntyre was crowned WWE champion after he defeated Brock Lesnar in Wrestlemania 36, earlier this year. He also successfully retained the title yesterday in the Money in the Bank Pay Per View against Seth Rollins.
On such a hot form, it is not entirely shocking that McIntyre made such a claim. Tyson Fury, himself is quite familiar with WWE. Last year in the Crown Jewel, he defeated Braun Strowman to cement his power.

Drew McIntrye said that he cares about giving the current WWE superstars an opportunity first.
“They’re the ones that have worked the hardest for it; those are the ones that deserve it. They’re going to get [a stadium show], this is a project down the line obviously.”
He also gave the dream match a peculiar title, calling it ‘Battle of Britain”. Tyson Fury’s reply to McIntyre’s statement could elevate things even further. The WWE universe would not mind seeing this match soon after the current world lockdown.
“Tyson Fury is a smart guy; he understands the magnitude of WWE and the global reach. [He’s] an entertainer. He mentioned my name leading up to WrestleMania; I mentioned his name after I won at WrestleMania. “

Will Tyson Fury make WWE return for Drew McIntyre?
Tyson Fury, nicknamed ‘The Gypsy King’, has made a massive name for himself in the sports world. The fans would be delighted to see him face off against someone gruesome as the current WWE champion. Fury is already famous among the WWE universe, and coming back for another match could attract people all over.

If WWE comes into an agreement with Fury again, we might see this match happening sooner than expected. A win over Fury could give McIntyre immense popularity throughout the world and, in turn, profit WWE.
