Coming to WWE Extreme Rules, Asuka vs Sasha Banks did not entirely go as expected. Yes, the match was good, Banks dominated while Asuka used her green mist.

Unfortunately, the mist ended up in the eyes of the referee. While Asuka was trying to figure out her next move watching the referee suffer, Banks attacked her.

At this point, even Bayley entered the ring and took down both of them. I believe the intention was to take down only Asuka.

Nevertheless, after both were flat-out in the ring, Bayley stripped the referee of his uniform, put it on, and counted to three while Banks pinned Asuka. This is absolutely not legal.

A Superstar cannot become the referee. If that was the case, everyone would do so for their friends and there need not be any rules at all.

However, WWE Network still lists Asuka as their official champion while Banks holds the position of the unofficial champion.

The mysterious case of Apollo Crews

On the other hand, coming to the Apllo Crews vs MVP match, mystery just oozes out of every detail revealed by WWE till now.

Apparently, Apollo Crews could not turn up for the match owing to an injury inflicted upon him by Bobby Lashley. So, Lashley and MVP walked to the ring where the latter self-crowned himself.

According to him, he deserves the crown since his opponent forfeited the match.

The real question is – What happened to Apollo Crews? Some fans are of the opinion that he is among the WWE group who have tested positive for COVID-19.

WWE is sticking to their story of Lashley injuring Crews. The WWE network still lists Apollo Crews as their champion.
