Randy Orton Says That His Win Over Drew McIntyre at Hell in a Cell Is His Biggest Championship Win in WWE

Randy Orton overcame the Scottish Psychopath, Drew McIntyre, to claim his 14th WWE World Championship. McIntyre walked into his first Hell in a Cell match, while Orton has been in many, and the experience showed.
After his win, Randy Orton was backstage in an interview with Sarah Schreiber. This was such an emotional moment for Orton that he ended up breaking kayfabe to speak about this achievement.
He labeled this as his “sweetest” world title victory. Post that, he paid tribute to his mentors, Triple H and Ric Flair. He also paid tribute to one of his biggest on-screen rivals, John Cena.

This victory came at an enormous cost, though, for Randy Orton. Both men gave their best and left everything in the ring inside the Cell.

Orton tricked McIntyre as he disguised himself as an operational extra and tried to attack McIntyre during his entrance. The fight started even before the bell rang.

The two tossed each other around on the steel of the Cell plenty of times. McIntyre delivered a belly-to-belly suplex through a table to Orton. The legend killer retaliated by stomping Drew’s head on the steel steps.

The scariest thing of the night occurred when Orton put Drew through the announcer’s table from almost the top of the Cell. McIntyre then connected with a claymore, but Orton recovered.

Soon, Orton struck with an RKO and picked up his long-awaited win. Orton is now a 14 time world champion and is on par with Triple H and just two behind John Cena and Ric Flair.
Triple H has retired from in-ring action as he concentrates more on behind-the-scenes things in WWE. Ric Flair is 70+ and definitely won’t be wrestling again.

As for John Cena, he has a career in Hollywood now and looks unlikely to return. The path is clear for Randy Orton to break that record of Flair and Cena while he still has time.
