Irrespective of that, he has positive hopes for 2023 with new movie projects and ventures. After an unexpected 2022 ending, he is ready for new beginnings.

Therefore, let us discuss the five positive things for ‘The Brahma Bull’ in 2023.

The inaugural season of rebooted XFL League

This league is an opportunity for Johnson to make new spaces for other athletes. The league is all set to kick off next month and only 50 days are left for it. He shared about the same on his Instagram a few hours ago.

He purchased the football league from his former boss Vince McMahon in 2020. DJ is very optimistic about XFL’s future on the American continent. The success of the league will surely get him a positive start in 2023.

After he didn’t get to shine as an NFL player, which was his dream. That year, 53 players got selected for NFL and he considers himself as the 54th. So with XFL he wants to try that none other athlete should have that 54th number player feeling.

Dwayne Johnson returns to the Red Notice Sequel, Red One

After Black Adam, The Rock was back to square one for filming his next movie. The film is Red One, a sequel to Red Notice, but will have nothing to do with the first movie.

Johnson will share the screen with actors like Chris Evans and Academy Award winner JK Simmons. The pictures from its filming have already made the fans excited about the film.

There is no news on the release date, as it is still in production. Nevertheless, DJ will once again top the box office with this movie when it releases this year.

A possible debut in MCU?

Now, when ‘The Great One’ shared a tweet about his future in DCEU, he low-key gave hint about joining MCU. Currently, Marvel’s parent company is The Walt Disney Company, which has a great relationship with Dwayne Johnson.

Moreover, in 2013, Kevin Feige praised The Rock for his acting and expressed his wish to work with him in an interview with Collider. He liked how DJ uses his social media to promote himself.

Therefore, now as Black Adam has no plan in DC currently, The Rock can make the shift in MCU. Feige surely would have some big men roles for the WWE legend in Marvel.

This is a long-time rumor that is in the wrestling world. Since Roman Reigns returned as The Tribal Chief, everyone is rooting for a match against The Rock. However, it seems 2023 is the year for it.

As per Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Rock’s name is high to enter the Royal Rumble and win it in 2023. He’ll challenge The Head of the Table for his titles at WrestleMania 39, thus having a dream match.

A WWE return will be of the most positive things for DJ, as he loves pro wrestling very much. He misses the business and a return will be a boost for kick-starting 2023 with a bang.
