Dwayne Johnson is one of the most followed celebrities in the world today. He has a dual fanbase across the globe, thanks to his illustrating run in WWE and his current Hollywood career. Moreover, he uses his social media to share his personal life and regularly motivates his fans.

The Rock has a substantial social media following across all platforms. Surprisingly, there is a catch to his massive social media followers.

Recently, Gambling.com shared a report covered by Ringside News which stated Elon Musk plans on cracking down on all the fake followers on Twitter very soon. Also, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has the fakest followers on Twitter.

The report states, “Although a large proportion of his followers will have come from his time on the big screen as well as his fame from the WWE, The Rock is the one who’s set to be the most affected by Musk’s crack down on fake accounts, with 7.4 million of his 16.7 million followers estimated to be fake.”

These plans of Musk can affect several WWE superstars. Furthermore, following ‘The Brahma Bull’, John Cena’s and Triple H’s Twitter accounts can see a reduction in their followers. ‘The Cenation Leader’ and Hunter have an estimated 4.3 million and 2.6 million fake followers on Twitter.

The Rock entered WWE as a babyface and received a lot of hate from the fans. He turned heel, joined The Nation of Domination and his WWE career went in an upward direction. Therefore, his fanbase grew in a tremendous way. Hence, this Twitter plan might not affect DJ in a big way.

Even though The Rock is a world-famous Hollywood actor today, deep in his heart, the love for wrestling still lies. Whenever he gets an opportunity, Johnson has always appeared on WWE shows to surprise his fans.
