The former basketball player and NBA star Shaquille O’Neal needs no introduction worldwide. Post his retirement, Shaq became more popular when he appeared on various TV shows. Moreover, he also showed up in WWE multiple times.
However, did you know once Shaq tried to call out a WWE superstar? If you think it’s The Big Show, then you might be wrong. The NBA star called out ‘The Beast’ of WWE in a pun-intended way.

When Brock Lesnar proclaimed his retirement from UFC in 2011, many celebrities congratulated him on a brilliant career. Former NBA player Shaquille O’Neal also shared his congratulations in a funny way, posting a video on social media.
In the video, Shaq said, “Brock Lesnar, you lucky you retired because I wanted to fight you. No, I’m just playing. Congratulations brother you had a great career. WrestleMania, UFC. You are the best brother, congrats. Welcome to the retirement.”
Lesnar announced his first retirement from UFC in 2011 after his match against Alistair Overeem at UFC 141. In 2011, he retired with a UFC Heavyweight Title reign under his name and a win/loss record of 5-3.
After retiring from UFC Lesnar, he signed a contract with WWE, which now allowed him to work selected dates. However, the rumors of the former UFC Heavyweight Champion returning floated until 2015, but Lesnar declined those rumors.
However, while still signed with WWE, Lesnar returned at UFC 200 to face Mark Hunt. He won the bout, but it was later they later overturned the result after Lesnar violated an anti-doping policy of USADA.

Lesnar earlier this year confirmed he is done with MMA and plans to stick with WWE until he decides to retire from pro wrestling.

Brock Lesnar wanted to retire after his match against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 as his contract was about to expire. Lesar said, “When I was younger, I thought I wanna retire when I’m 40. I actually retired when COVID hit and my contract was up in 2020. ”
