4-Time WWE Champion Shoots on Brock Lesnar for Ending The Undertaker’s Streak: “Put That Huge, Neon-Flashing Sign”

The WrestleMania 30 came as an enormous shock to the fans of WWE. The people who witnessed this moment stood still, as they couldn’t believe their eyes. All hell broke loose when The Undertaker lost his undefeated streak of 21-0 at WrestleMania.
Brock Lesnar did something unexpected. The fans of the Undertaker were watching in the expectancies of the match being another plus one of his streak. But recently a Hall of Famer Superstar of WWE called shots on the Beast Lesnar on breaking the streak on the Deadman.

The R-rated Superstar Edge thinks that Lesnar shouldn’t have agreed on the idea of breaking the streak. While talking with ESPN, Edge revealed that before Brock they offered the opportunity to break the streak of Undertaker to him, but he refused.
“I was asked, ‘What do you think about ending The Streak’ and I said no,” Edge said. “Adamantly no. I don’t think it ever should’ve ended until what we knew was his final WrestleMania, and then even no. I just didn’t think it was right.”

The rivalry between Edge and Taker began in 2007 when Edge cashed his ‘Money in the Bank’ briefcase on Taker and claimed his first-ever World Heavyweight Championship. And in WrestleMania 24 Edge lost to Undertaker’s Hell’s Gate submission lock, maintaining the streak of The Deadman.

Edge made his position clear when he talked about refusing to break the streak of the taker. While talking on a podcast, the R-rated Superstar also spoke of Lesnar and how he wasn’t the right person for it.
“I know this sounds crazy, but I felt I didn’t need it because, by that point, I was already established. I was already a made man, and why give an already made man that feather in the cap? Brock Lesnar didn’t need it. He’s already made. Put that huge, neon-flashing sign, ‘I ended Undertaker’s Streak’, on a new player that you know is gonna be one of your workhorses and take your company to the next generation.” said Edge on the Busted Open Podcast.

Edge thinks that a well-positioned superstar like Brock Lesnar was never the right choice for breaking the streak of The Undertaker. A rising name in the business, like Roman Reigns, should have received this opportunity.
