It happened once more to highlight how harsh sports can be, with just one action potentially leading to tragic consequences. WWE veteran R Truth, who just made an appearance as a special guest on NXT after a protracted sabbatical from television, might have had a pretty awful night on the most recent episode of NXT.

Since joining WWE in 2000, Truth has accumulated a wealth of experience working for the organization while continuing to put on a highly entertaining act. He was instantly put up for a singles match with Grayson Waller during the most recent show but was so severely hurt that the match had to be stopped in the middle.

In case you missed it, R Truth faced Waller on the most recent NXT episode. Waller grabbed the upper hand early on and brought Truth to the ground. Notably, the battle had a point when he performed the famous “You Can’t See Me” move of John Cena, after which Truth made a comeback.

The most important moments occurred when Waller was outside the ring and R-Truth stormed in and attempted a dive, but he missed the move and brutally crashed to the floor since Waller was slightly in front of where he landed. And WWE cut to the commercial. However, there was a picture-in-picture action that showed the referee entering the ring along with other officials and taking away the WWE veteran.

When WWE returned from the commercial break, it was claimed that Truth could not continue due to injury and Waller was declared the winner. Subsequently, when WWE tweeted about it the fans showed concern about the veteran’s health.

Fans were concerned about the health of R Truth

R Truth needs to understand that, at 50 years old, it will be difficult for him to accomplish flying maneuvers, according to one admirer.

One person wrote Grayson Waller had let them down.

Since Waller didn’t even attempt to catch him, one fan isn’t happy with him.

One fan, on the other hand, said that this is exactly the reason why main-roster athletes shouldn’t square off against developmental talents.

One fan claimed, “that’s the last time we’ll see Truth do that.”

Meanwhile, one admirer said that Truth was only 5 inches from a disaster.

“That was painful to watch,” said one user.

One supporter suggested Truth shouldn’t act this way at his age.

Another supporter thought everything will be good and hoped Truth is alright.

Indeed, at first, glance, the injury appears to be particularly serious considering that many wrestlers continue to compete in matches after suffering injuries. However, the injury appears to be rather significant if a veteran like Truth didn’t fight and finish the contest. Meanwhile, all eyes will be on the next update on him.
