73-Year-Old Ric Flair Is Having Trust Issues With Daughter Charlotte Flair

Ric Flair is one of the most decorated wrestlers in the sport’s history. His influence runs deep in the wrestling industry, even after his retirement years. But one shining light that shone late after his retirement was his daughter, Charlotte Flair. The woman who proved to WWE and the world, alongside the four horsewomen of NXT, that women’s wrestling deserves all the attention.
One of the defining features of Ric Flair’s run in the various companies was his title runs. Until John Cena matched his record, Flair was the only one in wrestling to hold 16 World Championships, a feat impossible for any to achieve. Even after his retirement, Flair wanted the world to see him wrestle one last time. So, earlier this year, he competed in his last match, a tag team match alongside his son-in-law, Andrade El Idolo.

When talking about Charlotte Flair’s return to WWE, Ric Flair said on the To Be The Man podcast, “To be very honest, I have no idea. She keeps everything to herself. I know she’s talking to the company, but I don’t know any more than that. If I did, I couldn’t tell you, anyway. She doesn’t trust me to tell me anything because I can’t keep my mouth shut.”

But like father, like daughter, Charlotte has been adding titles to her belt left and right. Not only has she surpassed legends already, racking up 12 title reigns in about less than a decade, but she also has had amazing matches with countless contenders. While she was still wrestling continuously, people didn’t appreciate her talent because of WWE’s tendencies to over-book her. But now that it has been over 6 months, people desperately need some Charlotte action, as she brings to the table a variety of things.
Her natural charisma and mic skills only add up to the amazing athleticism that she has displayed numerous times in the ring. While everyone is talking about a Belair and Flair match, we all know that Triple H loves to throw a curveball in every situation.
